Safety

We are committed to the ESC’s 10 Life Saving Rules and believe that by working together as an industry and adopting a standardized set of Life-Saving Rules, we can help our workforce collectively understand and apply simple and consistent actions to reduce harm and incidents. At CGR, safety is our top priority, and we are committed to upholding these rules to protect the well-being of our team and clients.

For the past 12 years we have operated under the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program granted by the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA), and we employ a full-time Certified OHS Practitioner to manage our HSE program. This allows us to closely monitor and manage elements such as noise, spill, and environmental hazards for compliance and continuous improvement.

As members of Complyworks and ISNetworld, we are proud of our safety record and are committed to maintaining our high standards in the future. We also encourage you to observe our crew’s safety culture on site to see firsthand the approach we take in health, safety, and environmental awareness.

Safety Mission Statement

CGR is dedicated to delivering top-quality oilfield services to its clients in a safe, healthy, and environmentally sound manner. We do so in compliance with Federal and Provincial Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and industry-wide Guiding Principles. We continuously improve our services, products, and people to provide exceptional service while minimizing our environmental impact.

By using effective administrative and operational controls, as well as appropriate training and equipment, our management and employees share responsibility for safety obligations. Achieving “Zero Incidents” is a critical component of our commitment to our clients.
